With over 21 years of diverse experience in the restaurant, bar, brewery, cidery, and event industries, Charlee Olsen has become a recognized name in the world of cannabis-infused beverages and custom mocktails. Charlee’s journey began in traditional hospitality, where she mastered customer service, event management, mixology, and gained extensive experience working in breweries and cideries. Her expertise expanded into the cannabis industry eight years ago, where she combined her passion for innovative beverage creation with extensive cannabis knowledge.

Charlee is the founder of her own LLC, where she offers bespoke mocktail services for a wide range of events. Her portfolio includes creating and serving custom zero-proof and cannabis-infused mocktails at everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate events. For the past four years, she has specialized in cannabis-infused mocktails, ensuring safe, compliant, and enjoyable experiences for her clients.

In her role as Beverage Innovator at High-Minded Events, Charlee not only served as longtime mixologist but also provided education to guests on mindful cannabis consumption, tailoring dosages and ingredients to meet individual preferences and maintaining safe consumption on site. She has also taught mocktail-making classes at the High-Minded studio and at nuEra Cannabis dispensary, combining her deep industry knowledge with hands-on instruction to empower others.

Beyond her work in cannabis events, Charlee has held leadership positions at multiple dispensaries, including nuEra and ZenLeaf, where she served as an Operations Manager, People Manager and Assistant General Manager. In these roles, she led staff training, managed compliance, and delivered exceptional customer service, always ensuring that clients received accurate product recommendations tailored to their needs.

Charlee’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Illinois, along with numerous certifications in cannabis education, compliance, and safety, including a Cicerone Certification. Her knowledge and extensive training extends to the craft of brewing beer and cider, making her uniquely skilled in beverage innovation across multiple sectors. Charlee is a trusted advisor and innovator in the rapidly evolving field of cannabis beverages.
